On October 17th, 2018, the Potomac Health Foundation (PHF) hosted its annual Celebration Event to bring together and commemorate the work of its grantees.

During the celebration, PHF presented RPCC with the Best Practice in Data Management Award for its Northern Virginia Healthcare Safety Net Report, which surveyed healthcare safety net providers and the services they provide throughout Northern Virginia. This report also assessed prescription drug access, eligibility criteria and other patient requirements. The report included an analysis of patient demographics across the safety net, as well as an overview of safety net financing.

RPCC appreciates PHF’s recognition of this report and our on-going efforts to promote health access and equity in Northern Virginia and the National Capital Region.
